Paul K. Tokheim, President

Mr. Tokheim is a dynamic technical manager with the proven ability to deliver large, complex projects on time, on budget, and to provide reliable, efficient production services. He provides forward-thinking leadership with a strong focus on delivering business benefit. He has an excellent balance of technical and business experience to manage competing priorities and successfully deliver business solutions.

Mr. Tokheim has over 25 years of experience managing many different IT functions and many software and hardware projects. During that time, he has led teams of analysts, developers, technical support, systems programmers and operations to exceed expectations. He has managed multiple, concurrent, and interdependent projects, coordinating the activities of subordinates, client staff, and other vendors to implement a total solution for the client. He has created new IT organizations and turned-around failing IT organizations. He has also managed organizations with staff located across the country and internationally.

Mr. Tokheim also has over 20 years of experience in the IT consulting industry. He has provided technical and management consulting to prepare clients for major IT and organizational restructuring. He has planned and supported company mergers and carve-outs, planning and organizing the new IT departments, systems, and policies. He has provided independent, expert review and analysis of projects and methodologies to help clients meet critical requirements, improve their IT functions, and prepare for Sarbanes-Oxley attestation.

Prior to forming Summit IT Consulting, Inc. Mr. Tokheim worked for AM-BEO, Ltd. (an Irish software firm), American Management Systems (a tier-1 IT consulting firm), Citicorp Retail Services (a subsidiary of Citicorp International), and Baldwin Data Services (a data service bureau for banking and insurance companies).
